Most of our trails go through the unique Riisitunturi National Park. Unlike most companies, all our safaris are carried without snowmobiles, and we lead the way on our own team of huskies. Usually we start from our farm but if needed we can transfer the whole husky pack to wherever you are.

- Duration of the trip is indictive and it can vary, depending of the weather.
- Warm clothes and boots required, but you will get overalls and boots from us also if you need. Two adults are sharing one sled, one is driving and other one sit in the sled. With two adults, there can be one kid in the sled, rest of the kids goes with the guide. We give instructions for driving and controlling the husky sled safely.
- Normal price when two adults are sharing one sled, if each customer wants to have one sled, it is possible for extra price
- Price includes VAT 10 % and liability insurance
- Child price for the age 4-12, under 4 year-old may come free with the paying adult
- If weather is colder than -20 C, maximum distance for the group with kids is 10 km.

In the national park you find hundred-year old forests and singular hillside swamps. We follow the frozen bogs and enjoy the silence. Broken only by the dogs’ paws scrunching on the snow and the skis of the sledge whizzing. This is how to spend a vacation!
Halfway we’ll prepare a delicious lunch by the open fire, for the dessert coffee or tea, of course. After that we continue towards new adventures with a full stomach. After arriving back to the farm, it is time to reward the dogs by praising and scratching!

When the short northern day turns to evening, we harness the dogs and begin our 20-kilometer journey in the magical wilderness of the Riisitunturi fjell. We will ascend on top of the Jaksamovaara, far away from the light pollution to the best viewing spot there is. The views are breathtaking.
The ride ends at the wilderness lake cabin just next to the National Park, where you’ll be greeted with a wilderness dinner and a delicious dessert, together with a warm sauna and sweet dreams inside sleeping bags. If the northern lights turned out to be shy that evening, you will have the whole night to observe sky. The cabin area is completely free of light pollution, so you will have a great chance of spotting the aurora borealis!
The guide will leave you in peace for the night. Breakfast will be delivered to the cabin to be enjoyed at the guests own pace. You will be picked up at an agreed time, latest at noon, to get back to civilization.

We start our trip from the home of 80 happy huskies. During the first day we drive through Riisitunturi National park and have tasty lunch by the fire. Riisitunturi area is famous of snow-loaded trees and you might be thinking that you are in the middle of the post card.
We will spend night in remote, wood heated wilderness cabin. Water comes from the lake. Electricity for lights and recharging phone we get from solar panel. During the evening you can participate caring of the dogs before it is time to have sauna and dinner.
Second day we will follow again snowy and silent trails inside the national park. Lunch will be served by the open fire before we arrive back home in the afternoon.
Two person share one sled, but it is possible to have own team for each client for extra price. Driving distance approximately 65 km.
